1990 brought a few more permanent changes to each bill the written number "one", "five" were reduced in size so that the statement "Disney Dollars may be spent or collected and saved as souvenirs and are redeemable at any time before or after any period of inactivity". This is also the first year Disney produced a $10 Disney Dollar and the first United States Currency to portrait a female, albeit, cartoon mouse "Minnie Mouse". Celebrating 35 years of magic at Disneyland.
The 1990 bill also added the words "Disney Dollars may be spent or collected and saved as souvenirs and are redeemable at any time before or after any period of inactivity"
