1930’s Ice Cream “Cones” Dollars

In 1932 a Herman “Kay” Kamen, a merchandising executive, made a call to Walt Disney. His purpose, to promote Mickey Mouse in new and different way. Shortly after, he signed a contract naming him the company’s “sole licensing representative”. In the following three years (and more), he worked with Disney and helped in licensing thousands of Mickey Mouse Products. One of these was part of a promotion beginning in 1933 that offered a “Mickey Mouse Cones” bill so children could get ice cream at their local Mickey Mouse Clubs, thus promoting Mickey Mouse and Southern Dairies Ice Cream. There exist, what appears to be, red/purple/magenta and blue/green. There were denominations of $1, $5, and $10.
